Holiness to the Lord

Hi. This week was good.

I don't know วัด to write anymore.

I went ice skating last week.

We had interviews with President Johnson. I love him. Best Mission President.

Talked with some people on the streets. It's hot.

Went on a switch off with Elder Ridd. He's cool. Good missionary. He's probably going to Laos.

The drawing of the Bangkok, Thailand Temple is out. I'm excited. It looks way cool. It's also like 6 stories high and the spire is almost the same height as the temple. So it'll be one of the tallest buildings in that area. It might possibly be the tallest temple. I don't know though. It's going to be built at the present time Mission Office. It should spark a fire for missionary work for all the members and missionaries in Thailand. Another 3-4 years and it will be built.

For this week I want to share a talk from the April 2017 General Conference. It's called "Drawing the Power of Jesus Christ into Our Lives" by President Russell M. Nelson. It reads:

"Many of us have cried out from the depths of our hearts a variation of this woman's words: "If I could spiritually stretch enough to draw the Savior's power into my life, I would know how to handle my heart-wrenching situation. I would know what to do. And I would have the power to do it."

When you reach up for the Lord's power in your life with the same intensity that a drowning person has when grasping and gasping for air, power from Jesus Christ will be yours. When the Savior knows you truly want to reach up to Him—when He can feel that the greatest desire of your heart is to draw His power into your life—you will be led by the Holy Ghost to know exactly what you should do.

When you spiritually stretch beyond anything you have ever done before, then His power will flow into you. And then you will understand the deep meaning of words we sing in the hymn "The Spirit of God":

The Lord is extending the Saints' understanding. …
The knowledge and power of God are expanding;
The veil o'er the earth is beginning to burst.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is filled with His power, which is available to every earnestly seeking daughter or son of God. It is my testimony that when we draw His power into our lives, both He and we will rejoice."

I encourage you all to read it. It's a way good talk and especially with Easter coming up and General Conference it's a good idea to prepare ourselves spiritually for it. We need to listen to the Prophet's counsel and draw on the power of Jesus Christ into our lives.

We need to "reach up for the Lord's power in your life with the same intensity that a drowning person has when grasping and gasping for air, power from Jesus Christ will be yours."

I love you all and miss everyone.
